Motafrenz Car Club Inc

Australia's oldest and largest social and motoring club for the LBTIQA+ community

Committee Profile: Ross Junor

This section aims to help familiarise you with the Committee Members of the Club and let them share their story with you.

This month, the spotlight is on Ross Junor!

I have been member of Motafrenz for several years now. I found out about Motafrenz at Midsumma Carnival a few years back.

Currently my position on the committee is as Federation of Vintage Veteran and Classic Cars Delegate, and my role is to attend quarterly meetings with Alan B. We then report back to the committee, and, by way of Cruise Control, the members on what is happening within the motoring movement.

I have a great interest in a wide diversity of cars, and this is what Motafrenz offers, along with great activities throughout the year along with good car talk and socialising.

I am also a regular attendee of the monthly Slot Car championship, and this is a good night of fun and madness.

I am currently working for a crash repair centre in Glen Iris as the detailer, the end of the chain after the repairs are completed and I am enjoying this work after being out of work for a while.

My working life has always been in automotive, having worked for different dealerships, so where I am now is a new adventure.

My current car is a 2011 Holden Commodore SV6, though previous cars have been a Mitsubishi 380, BA Falcon XR6 and VS Commodore SS.
