DETAILS: It’s time to dress up, or down again, for the Motafrenz classic Aussie Christmas barbecue with all the tidings and trimmings you’ve come to expect. Join us for a wonderful time on a member’s property with plenty of outdoor garden space, lots of shade, cover from any rain and a beautiful beach close by should it be too damn hot. We will peruse members’ cars parked and enjoy an Australian themed Christmas barbecue feast with members and friends. As always, don’t forget a jolly wrapped Kris Kringle around the value of ~10 to $15 to enjoy the time honored Motafrenz tradition with Mary Christmas and her trusty elves at the helm.

FOOD: There will be an expansive range and variety of food including vegetarian options. A range of non alcoholic beverages including Soft drink, tea and coffee will be provided. Please advise on your RSVP if you have any specific dietary requirements.

PARKING: Quiet local streets are wide with ample unrestricted parking. There is driveway space for a handful of display cars so please mention in your RSVP should you wish to reserve off-street parking.

ACCESS: Kananook Railway station is on the Frankston metro line and is approximately five minutes walk away. There is one step into the house and if required, a ramp can be provided, otherwise the property is relatively level. Please advise on your RSVP if there is any other access requirement you require.

BRING: Your pride and joy and friend or family. Your choice of hard drinks. Soft drinks provided. Easy-chair and/or picnic blanket. Beach gear for a cooling dip if it’s really hot, but more likely you might just need a La Niña rain brolly at hand just in case. Sun protection is recommended and not to forget, bring a Kris Kringle gift.

SUITS: All vehicle types or public transport

PETS:  Most welcome if they’re well behaved and not Harry Houdini escape artists.
