To all present and former members of Motafrenz, I have the sad news that longstanding member, former President, Brett Tooke has been moved to palliative care after a short, terminal illness.
Brett is hospitalised at St Vincents Public Hospital on Victoria Parade – he is in Ward 6 East, Bed 16.2. He is welcoming visitors during visiting hours (8.00am to 8.00pm). He is not in pain.
The Committee of Motafrenz and I encourage any of you who count Brett as one of your friends, to visit him during this time. He is currently lucid, but this is expected to change as his condition deteriorates.
Brett’s contributions and service to Motafrenz are numerous and long.
