FORMAL NOTICE OF AGM
Annual General Meeting of Motafrenz Car Club Inc. 2018 + Free* Brekkie and Lunch
The Annual General Meeting of the Motafrenz Car Club Inc. will be held on:
Sunday 29th July 2018, starting at 12:30PM
Victorian Historic Racing Register’s (VHRR) Clubrooms,
30-32 Lexton Road, Box Hill North, VIC.
This is one of our club’s largest events of the year and there is always a spectacular roll up with a superb range of automotive marques and members alike.
Roll up early for the free members’ barbecue breakfast and coffee and garage talk with Motafrenz friends.
There is ample safe parking and if your car is on CPS plates through Motafrenz, it will be sighted as per the Club’s CPS once-a-year sighting requirement. Roll up in your special vehicle, and you will also be in the running for the People’s Choice Award.
Schedule:
9:30 am to 11:00 am: Barbecue breakfast & coffee (Free for financial members)
10:30 am to 12:15 am: Garage Talk and tour of the Members’ Car Park and check out the Sir Jack Brabham Museum
12:30 pm: AGM
01:30 pm: Lunch (Free for financial members), including raffles.
3:30 pm: Meeting Ends.

If you unable to attend the AGM, you can appoint a Proxy by completing an Appointment of Proxy Form. You can also nominate people for Committee positions by completing a Nomination Form (which appears at the bottom of the Appointment of Proxy Form). Nominations for Committee positions for the forthcoming year can be made from the floor provided that the person being nominated is present. If the person being nominated is not present at the meeting they can be nominated by completing a Nomination Form.
The Business of the AGM shall be:
To confirm the Minutes of the previous Annual General Meeting; and
To receive from the Committee the:
a) reports upon the activities of the Association (the Club) during the preceding financial year
b) financial statements of the Association; and
To consider the Special Resolution proposed by the committee; and
To adopt the new Code of Conduct; and
To elect the officers of the Association (the Club)
*No member submitted any General Business items or Special Resolutions for discussion at the AGM to the Secretary by Monday 25th June.
COST: No charge for attending the AGM.
*FREE BBQ Brekkie and Lunch for financial members. Lunch includes main course, dessert, coffee and tea. Lunch for non-Members: $20.00.
